![]() ![]() Agents Of Mayhem is very much its own game, but everyone can see how it grew from the zaniness and history of Saints Row. In the end, we were quite happy with where we ended up on that scale. While it maintained ties to Saints Row throughout the development we did a lot of back and forth between how much or how little should be included in this new title. People on the team pitched several different ideas for what we might do, but when the idea of doing a super-agent game with Volition style and humour came up everyone gravitated to it right from the start. ![]() ![]() GC: Where did the idea come from to make this a spin-off rather than a straight Saints Row game? Did it start off as a numbered sequel and evolve, or was it always a separate game?ĪS: As we finished up Saints Row IV, and started thinking about what we would want to do next, we felt it was a good idea to try to expand our horizon a bit, while still remaining true to our roots. ![]()
